Signs Your Water Heater Needs Attention

No Hot Water

If your water heater isn't producing any hot water at all, it could indicate a failed heating element, thermostat issue, or complete unit failure.

Inconsistent or Insufficient Hot Water

Running out of hot water quickly or getting lukewarm water is a sign your unit is struggling and may need repair or replacement.

Visible Leaks

Any water pooling around your water heater should be addressed immediately to prevent costly water damage to your Spokane home.

Rusty Water

Discolored or rusty hot water is a sign of internal corrosion and usually means your tank needs to be replaced soon.

Higher Utility Bills

A sudden increase in your energy bills could mean your water heater is working harder than it should and losing efficiency.

Frequent Repairs

If you're calling a plumber repeatedly for the same water heater issues, replacement is often more cost effective than continuing to repair.

Efficient Water Heating: Tankless vs. Hybrid Solutions

Tankless Water Heater Repair & Installation in Spokane

Tankless water heaters, also known as on-demand water heaters, are becoming increasingly popular among Spokane homeowners looking to improve energy efficiency and reduce utility bills. Unlike conventional tank-based systems that continuously heat and store large volumes of water, tankless units heat water instantly as it flows through the system — giving you endless hot water exactly when you need it.

At Lilac City Plumbing, our experienced Spokane plumbers specialize in tankless water heater installation, maintenance, and repair. Whether you’re upgrading from a traditional tank system or your existing tankless unit needs servicing, our licensed technicians arrive fully equipped to get the job done right. For water heater repair Spokane homeowners call us today at (509) 808-0495. We Provide fast, reliable tankless water heater service in Spokane.

Hybrid Water Heater Repair & Installation in Spokane

Hybrid water heaters are one of the most energy-efficient solutions available to Spokane homeowners today. By combining traditional tank-style storage with modern heat pump technology, hybrid models extract heat from surrounding air to warm your water — using significantly less energy than conventional electric or gas heaters. The result is lower monthly utility bills and a reduced environmental footprint without sacrificing hot water availability. Many modern hybrid models also include smart Wi-Fi connectivity for remote monitoring and management.

At Lilac City Plumbing, our Spokane plumbers are experienced in hybrid water heater installation, repair, and maintenance. Contact us today at (509) 808-0495 to find out if a hybrid water heater is the right choice for your Spokane home.

Very great service and very knowledgeable and reasonable in price I really appreciate that they are so conscientious of your home and wear booties when they come in. Maybe not necessary but just an added nice touch that I really appreciate. Mainly they just were very knowledgeable and that is the most important thing to me.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Damien was awesome. I called another company first but they couldn’t come out for two weeks. I then called Lilac and their dispatcher got Damien to me within 30 minutes. He quickly found the leak causing water problems in my downstairs hall and caught some other issues too. The whole job was finished in just a couple hours. I couldn’t be happier and I’ll definitely use them again!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I needed a plumber right away and Damien showed up within a half hour. He assessed my toilet issue and went over my options with me very thoroughly. After he removed my old toilet he found worse problems than unexpected due to an unprofessional rebuild in the past. He stayed and solved all the problems well past regular hours at no extra charge. He was friendly and pleasant and talked me through everything, explaining my options at every turn. I am super happy with the result and highly recommend Lilac City Plumbers.

We had a plumbing emergency and Damien was there within two hours to fix it (and we live clear out in the country). He went above and beyond in helping us and we will absolutely be calling them again in the future. We highly recommend this company!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Best plumber in Spokane hands down! When I called I spoke to Donna who was friendly and so helpful, she got me scheduled same day in less than 45 minutes Gabe came to my house. I needed my water heater fixed because it was leaking and making weird noises. Gabe gave me three options to make repairs or replace and now I have a brand new water heater and piece of mind. I was treated so well by everyone on the team that I will happily recommend Lilac City Plumbing to anyone who need emergency repair at a fair price.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Damien from Lilac City Plumbing came out to help diagnose a water pressure issue with my sprinkler system, and I couldn't be more impressed. He was thorough and professional at every step. He walked me through all the available options and ultimately recommending the lowest-cost solution because it was the right fit for my situation, even though it only earned him a basic service call fee. That kind of honesty is rare, and the fee itself was very reasonable given the time and attention he gave me.
Lilac City Plumbing has earned a customer for life. As long as they're in business, I won't call anyone else for my plumbing needs. They are genuinely, refreshingly honest with their clients and that means everything.
As an added bonus, Damien is just a great guy! Very personable, engaging, and easy to talk to. Highly recommend this business without hesitation!
